Included in packages
The number of nights lodging and days fishing as specified in your package, all meals, snacks, non alcoholic beverages, daily happy hour (beer and rum), guide and boat per specified fishing days in package and free laundry service.
Not included in packages
International airfare to/from San Jose, air fair to and from San Jose to Limon, airport reception (Limon) or private shuttle to and from Limon airport, ground transportations from San Jose to Manzanillo and back, accommodations outside of specified package dates, meals during travels to lodge, fishing equipment, gratuities for (guides, staff, and shuttle driver), beer and rum outside of happy hour, travel insurance and airport departure tax (Approx. $25 to be paid at airport).
Booking policy
Deposits, cancellations & refunds: A deposit of 30% per person is required within 10 days of the reservation request. The balance is due 90 days prior to scheduled arrival at Tarponville. A refund of the deposit less a handling fee of $150 per person will be returned if notice of cancellation is received by Tarponville at least 90 days prior to your scheduled arrival. There will be no refund for "no shows" or cancellations received less than 90 days prior to arrival. No refund will be given for early departures. A fee of $100 dollars could be charged for date changes made after deposit is received. Changes in dates may not be available at time of request.
Recommended tips and Gratuities
We ask that tipping for our staff and team members be in US dollars. Staff: $30.00 per day/per guest.
Shuttle driver: $10 per person per group BUT MOST OF ALL !!! TIP OUR GUIDES WELL!!!
FISHING SEASONS
Spring (Late February- May 31) and fall (August 1 - October 31).
Tarponville Lodge welcomes anglers to prime fishing seasons in spring and fall. From late February to May 31, spring offers ideal conditions for thrilling fishing adventures. In fall, from August 1 to October 31, anglers can reel in impressive catches amidst favorable weather. Whether you're targeting tarpons, snooks, or other game fish, these seasons provide optimal opportunities to test your skills and create unforgettable memories. With expert guides and top-notch facilities, Tarponville Lodge ensures an exceptional fishing experience during these peak seasons. Common package itinerary
Arrival
Upon arriving at Tarponville we will have a brief orientation, lunch, depending when you arrive, and allow you to settle into your temporary home for the remainder of your stay.
The following day
Starting the following day after being served a hot breakfast, you will be begin your fishing for the specified days in your package.
Last day
On your final day, day of departure, you will have breakfast, depending on departure time, and board the shuttle for your drive. For a more detailed sample itenerary please see the "Trip Details" page. Tarponville offers a complimentary Happy Hour from 5:30pm-6:30pm, which includes beer and rum bar.

Flight & Shuttle
Tarponville fishing packages inclusions begin from Limon, Costa Rica. Travelers are responsible for domestic flights and accommodations during travels to Limon.
Hotel recommandation
Starting 2020 all Tarponville's package inclusions start at Tarponville. Travelers are responsible for transportation to and from the lodge.
